Kuşadası Beaches
It is possible to find various sandy or rocky beaches all around the town of Kuþadasý. Some of them are private beach clubs where you have to pay an entrance fee to use the facilities and some are free public beaches. Some are pebble beaches. The number of blue flags at a beach symbolizes the quality of the water. Three flags means the cleanest water.
The most populer beaches are Ladies Beach, Kalamaki Beach in the national park, Kustur Beach and Pamucak Beach.
Ladies Beach
The most popular and busiest beach during the summer season is the Ladies Beach which has given its name to the nearby part of town. The 1-kilometre long beach is within walking distance of the town of Kuþadasý but, those who prefer, a local minibus services is available from the city centre.
The fine sandy beach offers changing rooms, sunbeds, umbrellas, shower and toilet facilities. Those who like water sports will find them here. The area just across the street is occupied by many hotels and restaurants which offer excellent service and dishes for visitors. The street is good for those who want to walk and watch the sunset because no motor vehicles are allowed.
Behind the hotels there are the summer houses, usually belonging to the locals, small pensions and a small bazaar where traditional and modern handicrafts are available.
Every Sunday during the summer the area becomes very crowded with Turkish holidaymakers. It is a region of Kuþadasý which should not be missed.
