Most visitors to Turkey already know that textiles are a real bargain here. Lots of textiles are sold for comparatively low prices in the bazaars and small shops which are found all along the road.
As they have become more professional, even this has changed. Gradually trendy and modern boutiques have been opened, offering original goods, not copies, of well known producers. It is not only goods from well-known European collections, there are wonderful Turkish ones as well, showing high quality and beautiful design. These new fashions are well worth buying.
It is well known that lots of designer labels have been produced in Turkey because of the cheap labour and the availability of good materials. That means, if you compare prices with European boutiques, you get a good deal.
Like most places around the world, in Turkey prices go down at the end of the season. New collections are on sale then and space is needed to display them.
If you get the chance, you can enjoy all the special offers and cut down prices.
Go and have fun choosing. Nobody is going to force you to buy anything. This is a completely different experience compared with the Bazaar. You can look, try on and even if you do not like what you see, the staff will still be friendly and kind, helping with trying on or with tips and information.
