Impressions from Croatia - Jesenice and Dugi Rat

Impressions from Croatia - Jesenice and Dugi Rat

What in the high season between Omis and Split on the coastal highway 8 creates lot of stress for traffic, is now in early autumn quite enjoyable because of silence and serenity: small idyllic coastal villages such as Jenice and Dugi Rat lined up like pearls on a string.

You can even choose between kilometer long beach sections that alternate between sandy, pebbly or rocky, crystal clear water that invites to swim.

We had passed the coastal road from Montenegro and Dubrovnik Coming for the first time again in high summer season of last year, which we expected already despite the seasonal traffic, until we came to Omis. Jam to Split! So you think about it more than once if you want to drive direction Split along the coast again. Now, in early October, barely large tourist groups on site, every now and then you meet a camper. And yet the water is very pleasant, so that we are on a tour along the street and have taken a few impressions of the beach areas and the small ports have been photographically documented. And as always, all images are unedited.
