According to the Constitution of the Republic of Turkey, everyone is free to work and sign contracts in the field he or she chooses. The Individual and Collective Labor Law regulates work life,
and guarantees the right to form associations and trade unions and sign collective labor agreements. Turkey has signed Agreements No. 87, 98, 105 and 111 of the International Labor Organization, which is an important organ of the UN concerned with human rights.
