Cacik (Yoghurt Hors dÓueuvre)

  • scant 2 cups plain yogurt
  • 1 tablespoons dried mint
  • some few fresh mint leaves and ice cubes, to garnish
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1 tablespoon dried dill weed
  • 1 small or a 0.5 large cucumber
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

How to do it!

 

Place the yogurt in a bowl and add the garlic.

Peel the cucumber and dice fine. Stir into the yogurt with the dried herbs. Mix well and add a little water if the cacik is too thick.

Sprinkle with the olive oil and serve, garnished with mint leaves and ice cubes.
