There is a boom in construction in Turkey at the moment. It would be nice if there could be something similar in Europe! Do not listen to all the promises people make. They are mostly made without any technical knowledge or background. Look at all the details, decide exactly what sort of materials should be used and put all this into a written contract. Once all this is done, your architect then needs to ensure that everything is done according to the terms of your contract.

 The better construction companies, and they are available here, have their own European or Turkish architects and engineers, who have a lot of experience in construction and so understand much more easily what you want and can put it into practice. All the materials you would like to use are available on the Turkish market, even though lots of builders say the opposite. Don?t believe them, they simply want to use cheap materials and they quite often do not know how to use higher quality ones. Be aware, though, you may need to be very assertive to make sure things are done the way you want them.
 

This is the most important reason for enlisting the help of an architect. You will save money in the long run which will help to compensate for the cost of the architect. Having said all that, an investment in construction in Turkey can be very profitable.

A good constructor thinks long term and wants to have a satisfied client in you, which is the best and most positive advertisement for his future in business. It is better than any newspaper advert for him.
If you take the time to get as much information as possible, you should be able to find a suitable builder for your new home. Use any experience you may have had in Europe, and you will find you can also apply it to Turkish construction.
