Maybe during one of your visits at the beach you have already noticed one of these yellow cigars, tied to a powerboat and crowded with people, all of them laughing and crying, moving fast across the blue water?
This is in fact excellent racing fun - the banana boat.
There are lots of places along the Turkish beaches where you have the chance to ride a banana boat. Quite often you will be asked to try a trip on a slippery banana. But don't worry. They will speed up quickly and the turns will really be fun, but it is safe. After a short talk on all the safety regulations, and being shown how to put on the life vest you can look for the best position on the boat.
And off you go.
At first, you will leave the coast, doing some turns, then more and faster turns and, if the captain decides, some circles. Nobody will leave the banana boat dry!
