Manavgat (Delta) Channel

The place where the Manavgat River embraces with the Mediterranean is called as the Manavgat Channel. Especially during weekends this is the frequented place of the locals and the fishermen. While on one side the cool turquoise waters of the river flow, on the other side the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean gleam.

In this place where the river reaches the sea and on the river itself, daily boat trips are organized during the tourism season, and on these trips the visitors are served with delicious local sea and freshwater products.

The delta that offers an array of beautiful colours on the sunset is important in terms of coastal tourism.

The Mavagat Channel region can be easily reached via the “Sorgun – Boğaz” minibuses that depart from Manavgat Centrum.

In case of having a private car, the region can be reached by driving through the freeway on the bus terminal direction and by taking the left road after the “Titreyengöl” signboard. This road will lead you to the Channel where the Manavgat River meets the Mediterranean.
