Marubi Museum and Fondazione Alinari per la Fotografia have the pleasure to invite you to the opening of the exhibition “Felice Beato and Adolfo Farsari,” curated by Fondazione Alinari per la Fotografia, scientific consultant Rossella Menegazzo.

The exhibition marks the first collaboration between the two institutions and showcases the photographic work of two important authors in the history of Italian and world photography. They were among the first to portray the Far East, especially Japan, contributing to sustain the cultural phenomenon of Japonisme in Europe.

The exhibition is supported by the Ministry of Economy, Culture and Innovation of Albania and the Italian Culture Institute in Tirana.
