Caravan Salon - Strong first weekend confirms great interest in mobile travel as a form of holiday
The first weekend of CARAVAN SALON DÜSSELDORF 2025 confirmed the great interest in caravanning.
CARAVAN SALON the world's largest platform for industry professionals
However, visitors had to be patient on Saturday due to the large crowds. ‘For the second weekend, we recommend that caravanning fans use public transport due to the high number of visitors expected. As a result of the Ed Sheeran concert series, there may be traffic delays on the way back from the exhibition grounds,’ adds Koschke.
North Rhine-Westphalia's Minister President Hendrik Wüst officially opened the 64th CARAVAN SALON on Friday, 27 August. Hendrik Wüst then took a tour of the exhibition and learned about the wide range of products and services on offer in the field of mobile leisure. The Minister President exchanged ideas with representatives of the industry at the Caravaning Industry Association (CIVD) and various North Rhine-Westphalia exhibitors. The focus was on the challenges and opportunities of camping and caravanning tourism in North Rhine-Westphalia, climate-neutral energy concepts for campsite operators and the topic of sustainability.
