Roman Road Neckar-Alb-Aare - Last year we welcomed new members, and now the updated folding map of the Roman Road is available.

It provides an overview of the route and presents all the points of interest with contact details and opening hours.

In addition to the already familiar sections, discover the new Kinzig Valley Route, which leads from Rottweil to the Roman fort in Schramberg-Waldmössingen and to the Brandsteig trail in Aichhalden-Rötenberg. This new section is planned to continue through the Black Forest towards the Rhine Valley.

The current supply of maps for the Roman Road Neckar-Alb-Aare should last a while and will be sent out in the coming days: individually to all interested parties on our mailing list, and in larger quantities to museums, points of interest, and tourist information centers along the Roman Road and beyond.

If you haven't received a map from us yet, please feel free to request one free of charge. A short email to the office is all it takes.

... The Roman Road Neckar-Alb-Aare map is also available digitally, attached to this newsletter and as a download on the website. However, the printed version is somewhat more user-friendly due to its extensive content.

Roman Road Neckar-Alb-Aare  - ALWAYS UP-TO-DATE

As you know, the Roman Road Neckar-Alb-Aare connects Roman sites from the Swabian Alb along the Neckar River to Switzerland. An ancient long-distance road has been documented for a large part of the route. Today, there is still much to discover and experience: Roman ruins, reconstructed tombs and villas, open-air sites, and fascinating finds in museums. Roman festivals and hands-on activities bring life in the Roman province to life.
