Our stay in the fortress of Omis had brought us together with Domagoj, who as a member of the organization "PD" IMBER OMIS - to protect the wildlife of our mountains", who at the Fortress Starigrad is responsible for security and care of the guests.

Some days we are now at Camp Galeb in Omiš and now it should even go into the town center. The town itself is located in the south of Croatia at the mouth of the Cetina into the Adriatic Sea and belongs to the province of Dalmatia.

After an extensive photo break, a small lunch break and quite interesting discussions concerning the development of walking routes in Omis, it was time to make the return journey.

Today again there is a hiking destination on our schedule - the medieval fortress Starigrad, which is located high above Omis which offers splendid views over the coastline and the mouth of the Cetina River.

Today again, a fantastic morning at the campsite, clear blue skies, despite or perhaps because of the strong wind, here called Bura.
