Considering your taste, you can make changes in the numbers and amounts of the ingredients.
500 g celery with leaves
Extra virgin olive oil
Water, sugar and salt
Please use low and broad steel saucepan. Initially preparing the ingredients will be helpful while cooking.
Peel the celeries and slice them like cubes. Chop up the stalks and leaves about two fingers width.
Peel the carrots and slice them in the shape of circles and keep them waiting for adding the meal.
Put the peeled and sliced circle shaped onions to the saucepan and fry with a half teacup of water. Do not let the onions burn while frying with water.
Using water instead of oil won’t cause cancer and finding a new taste will contribute to the habit of healthy nutrition.
When the onions soften, first add the circle shaped carrots, then, add the cube shaped celeries and lengthwise cut stalks and leaves. Pour approximately 1.5 teacups of water and add a pinch of sugar, arbitrarily salt.
When the vegetables start to ooze out and boil, pour the olive oil. I suggest the extra virgin olive oil. By the way, wash the lemon properly and slice it in the shape of circles.
Cooking the celeries does not take a long time. 15 minutes may be sufficient, but still check the celeries and carrots with the help of a fork. When you are about the take the food from the furnace (last five minutes) disperse the circle shaped lemons on it.
Note: As a side dish, serving with cream potatoes would be wonderful ;-)
