These childhood dreams come true in the "Rooftop Tents" exhibition area in Hall 7a at CARAVAN SALON 2026. Here, suppliers showcase the latest models in rooftop tent manufacturing. From entry-level models suitable even for compact cars like the Fiat Panda to spacious sleeping quarters for large families, there is something to satisfy every camper's heart. Rooftop tents offer maximum flexibility and are perfect for nature-oriented camping (provided, of course, that it is permitted in the location!).
A long-established bestseller in the rooftop tent market is the Italian company Autohome (7a/C01). Its tents have been a favourite among young campers since 1958. The "Maggiolina" model combines a genuine retro feel with state-of-the-art materials, while generations of campers have loved the Italian "Airtop."
Campwerk (Hall 7a/D02) is one of the industry's market leaders, offering rooftop tents in a wide range of sizes and categories. The very names of the tents—such as "Skycamp," "Good Vibes," and the spacious "Adventure" version—evoke dreams of upcoming camping trips. At CARAVAN SALON, the company from Velbert, North Rhine-Westphalia, presents an exciting lineup of models.
Spending the night in the "Odyssey" rooftop tent from Portuguese manufacturer Capaventure and the James Baroud brand (7a/D20) offers stunning 360-degree panoramic views of the natural surroundings. The tent can be retrieved from the roof box and set up in just 60 seconds.

Femkes Rooftoptents (7a/B19) showcases roof tents packed with practical features. The Dutch company presents compact tents with integrated awnings that provide protection from the sun and rain on the ground behind the vehicle as well.

Naturbummler (7a/B07) from Mannheim offers outdoor adventures with a touch of comfort. For instance, their "Family Loft" invites you to spend the night in a particularly spacious sleeping area.
Nordling (7a/A19), based in Lüneburg, Lower Saxony, is sure to delight young campers with its entry-level models. The new "Easy Top" is a lightweight model that can be mounted even on the smallest vehicles.

The roof tents from Vickywood (7a/C07), based in Augsburg, Bavaria, inspire a desire for the next camping adventure. In addition to spacious sleeping areas for the whole family, Vickywood specializes in smaller, robust, and lightweight roof tents that are perfect for weekend outdoor experiences—such as a hybrid tent combining a hard shell with a folding design for very easy setup and takedown.
The "Tentbox Go" from a British manufacturer (7a/B25) is also ultra-lightweight. It can be opened and closed within 60 seconds, making it ideal for a spontaneous camping adventure for two.

Tickets and prices for CARAVAN SALON Düsseldorf 2026:
A day ticket for adults’ costs 20 euros on weekends and 18 euros on weekdays; The reduced rate (for schoolchildren, students, Club CARAVAN SALON & boot members, and ADAC members) is €18 on weekends and €16 on weekdays; for children (aged 6 to 12), the day ticket costs €6 on both weekends and weekdays. In addition, an afternoon ticket is available from Monday to Friday for €12 (valid from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.). Prices for the Preview Day are €39 for adults (€35 reduced), while children aged 6 to 12 pay €6.
