Düsseldorf is the heart of mobile leisure. For ten days, over 700 exhibitors will present their latest models: caravans, motorhomes, and campervans – suitable for every travel type and taste. Visitors can also expect a huge variety of accessories, technical equipment, conversion elements, roof tents, mobile homes, and camping and caravanning supplies. Exciting travel destinations, campsites, and RV pitches are also waiting to be discovered. At the same time, the CARAVAN SALON is once again strengthening its central position as an international platform for industry experts and specialists and expanding its conference program for the B2B sector.

This is where the premieres of the coming season will take centre stage – with top products, groundbreaking innovations, and truly world-firsts, which can be experienced live for the very first time. Networking on the largest B2B platform for caravanning
The CARAVAN SALON has long been more than just a product trade fair – it is a vibrant meeting place for exchange, innovation, and shaping the future. In recent years, the trade fair has developed into a central platform for dialogue and networking – a place where the focus is not only on vehicles and accessories, but also on visions and partnerships. The B2B conference area, under the motto "Destination Future," continues to grow – driven by increasing demand from the industry. Inspiring practical examples will demonstrate how innovative caravanning destinations are created – from the initial idea to successful implementation. A format that sets new standards and opens up new perspectives.
This includes the 5th German Campervan Day organized by the CIVD (German Association of Motorhome Drivers and Caravanners), which will take place on September 1st in cooperation with the German Tourism Association and the ADAC (German Automobile Club). Also on September 1st, the 2nd CARAVAN SALON InnovationStage will offer exciting insights into technology and digitalization in caravanning. On September 2nd, the 4th "Nature.Tourism.Future" symposium, focusing on sustainable tourism concepts, and the networking event "Travel Industry meets Caravanning," organized in cooperation with the Travel Industry Club, are on the agenda. The 2nd Camping Destination Day on September 3rd will focus on the success factors of caravanning for tourism regions. Also on September 3rd, the German Hiking Association will award the best hiking regions and trails with the "Wanderbares Deutschland" certificate. In the afternoon, experts will discuss the digital future of hiking: AI-supported navigation, gamification, and open data will be the focus of the Outdoor Navigation Hub. At the Future Day for Active Tourism on September 4th, the German Hiking Association will focus on new quality standards for hosts, changing guest needs, and strategies for adapting to climate change.
A varied program focusing on mobile leisure activities
To ensure that a visit to the CARAVAN SALON is an unforgettable experience for the whole family, Messe Düsseldorf has once again put together a diverse supporting program focusing on mobile living. Highlights include the Dream Tour Cinema, which awakens wanderlust with impressive travel reports, and the inspiring European Outdoor Film Tour (EOFT) on the second Friday, which promises pure adventure. Those who prefer to get active themselves can try out the latest models on-site in the e-bike course. And the youngest visitors are also catered for: A colourful program of games and fun for children ensures bright eyes and happy experiences.
Caravan Salon Starter World: The Springboard to Mobile Travel
The popular Starter World is the first port of call for anyone just discovering mobile travel – this year, the special show can be found between Halls 5 and 9. During the CARAVAN SALON, it helps newcomers navigate the extensive range of products on offer and find the right vehicle. In the invitingly designed Starter World, visitors are presented with a variety of vehicle types. Whether caravan or motorhome, semi- or fully integrated, visitors will find answers to all their questions here. Independent consultants are available directly at the vehicles and explain the respective advantages and practical handling. In addition to the personal consultations, a varied stage program provides even more information and inspiration. Interesting short presentations and interviews on caravanning practice, vehicle selection, functionality, vehicle rental, and much more offer real added value.
Special Show "Adventure Self-Conversion": Do it yourself
The special show, organized in cooperation with the magazine’s explorer & Wanderlust, offers professional advice and expert knowledge to help make your project a success. Several self-converted recreational vehicles vividly demonstrate what is possible. Daily presentations for beginners, advanced users, and professionals provide information on all the key topics relevant to the DIY community. And best of all: In Halls 3, 13, and 14, visitors can purchase the right products for their upcoming project directly from many suppliers. Numerous exhibitors are available for in-depth, personalized advice.
Caravan Centre with 3,500 Pitches
At the Caravan Centre (large parking lot P1), a visit to the trade fair becomes a true experience. Caravan Salon - Preview Day on August 29
The Preview Day on Friday, August 29, offers the perfect opportunity for interested parties who want to discover the industry's latest products and innovations at their leisure and experience them firsthand. Thanks to the limited number of tickets, visitors can enjoy a particularly pleasant atmosphere where they can compare, ask questions, and try things out in a relaxed atmosphere. Those who come with concrete purchase intentions benefit from time, space, and individual advice. This day is particularly ideal for trade visitors, industry experts, and business guests: intensive networking, personal discussions at eye level, and inspiring exchange make the Preview Day the perfect platform for new ideas and intensive contacts.
Tickets and prices for CARAVAN SALON Düsseldorf 2025:
The day ticket for adults’ costs €20 on weekends and €18 on weekdays; Concessionary tickets (schoolchildren, students, Club CARAVAN SALON & boot, ADAC) cost €18 on weekends and €16 on weekdays. Children (6 to 12 years old) have a day ticket price of €6 on weekends and weekdays. An afternoon ticket is also available Monday to Friday for €10 (from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.). Prices for Preview Day are €39 for adults (concessions: €35), and children aged 6 to 12 pay €6.
