Caravan Salon - Caravaning is more than just a holiday it is a lifestyle that embodies freedom, independence, and the desire to discover new places. Across the 15 exhibition halls and the outdoor area, people gather to share their passion for mobile travel and experience the full diversity of the caravaning world.

"We are extremely pleased with how the 65th Caravan Salon has gone so far. By the end of Wednesday, 164,000 caravaning enthusiasts had already made their way to Düsseldorf. This impressively demonstrates the immense enthusiasm for mobile travel and the keen interest in the industry's latest developments.

Visitors arrive at the trade fair well-informed and with clear ideas in mind. At the same time, we are experiencing the special atmosphere that defines the Caravan Salon: people sharing a passion for caravaning meet manufacturers, dealers, and experts from all over the world," says Director Stefan Koschke.

Especially in challenging times characterized by somewhat cautious consumer sentiment, the invaluable importance of the Düsseldorf trade fair for the entire industry becomes evident.

"The Caravan Salon does not simply showcase products; it opens up tangible possibilities. Visitors can find inspiration, compare different concepts, experience and test vehicles and solutions firsthand, and thus find the exact offer that suits their individual needs and lifestyle.

Nowhere else can one directly compare such a wide range of brands, layouts, vehicle concepts, technical innovations, and equipment options within just a few hours.

It is precisely this unique combination that makes the Caravan Salon so valuable to visitors. It serves not only as a major showcase for the caravaning world but also as the premier venue for direct comparison by customers and one of the industry's most significant sales platforms," adds Stefan Koschke. Daniel Onggowinarso, Managing Director of the Caravaning Industry Association (CIVD), underscores the immense importance of the Caravan Salon for the caravanning industry: “Once again this year, exhibitors are impressively showcasing what our industry has to offer.

The bustling halls and the strong visitor response demonstrate the immense fascination with caravans and motorhomes, as well as the powerful appeal of the Caravan Salon.

The unique variety of products and numerous innovations ensure that visitors always find something new to discover. This is precisely what makes the trade fair so significant for our sector.

It brings together manufacturers, retailers, and visitors, while also creating a vital platform for dialogue with other segments of the tourism industry and, above all, with policymakers.

Engaging with political decision-makers is an integral part of the Caravan Salon for us. We are delighted that high-ranking political representatives including State Secretary Dr. Claudia Elif Stutz and Luxembourg’s Minister of the Economy and Tourism, Lex Delles attended the event to see for themselves the importance of our industry.

After all, caravanning is far more than just a form of holidaymaking; it is a significant economic and tourism factor in Germany, Europe, and beyond.”

At the 65th Caravan Salon, a record 834 exhibitors from 41 countries are showcasing motorhomes and caravans of all sizes and price categories alongside base vehicles, accessories, technical equipment, conversion components, tents, mobile homes, campsites, motorhome pitches, and travel destinations through September 6.
