As part of our joint exploration trip to find new trails for mountain bikes in the Taurus Mountains, we were guests in Olympos again.

Once again we want to take advantage of the wonderful summer weather for a longer cycle tour, have chosen the old town of Hattingen as our destination and are starting from the Horster Ruhrbrücke campsite, a tour of around 80 kilometres there and back.

The starting point for our cycling explorations in the Ruhr area was once again the Horster Brücke campsite, right next to what is still popularly known as the 5-Pfennigs Bridge over the Ruhr.

Although we had only just roughly cleaned the e-bikes (the forest paths on the Finne are still deeply muddy due to the wetness of the past few weeks), we were so tempted that we went along the Kaiserweg or better along the Lossa to the The village of Lossa opened straight through the forest.

Today we are going to the well-known Vondel Park in Amsterdam, which is located in the Oud-Zuid district and is a popular meeting place for everyone who wants to escape the hustle and bustle of the big city for a while or to relax from the stress of everyday life.

The IJmuiden aan Zee beach is located in front of the Seaport IJmuiden marina and is relatively easy to reach by car or public transport via the Strand IJmuiden aan Zee sign.

Another e-bike tour was coming up and once again we chose the Prahljust campsite in Clausthal-Zellerfeld as a starting point. We have organized tours through the Harz from here several times, sometimes by e-bike, sometimes on foot.

Jörg and Marco have already organized the first two bicycle caravan meetings (FaWoWa meetings) in Germany in the last two years and want to continue this with their own passion in the coming years.

As relative newcomers on a section of the Main Cycle Path, we were quite astonished when we met Rita, who spent her short break this time with bicycle, panniers, tent and .... dog during a short break between Dettelbach and Volkach.

Wonderful early summer weather lures people outside, if possible into the green nature of the surrounding area. So it is not surprising that the many places for mobile homes on the Main near Kitzingen are largely occupied.

Once again, we wanted to explore a target path with the e-bike from the Prahljust campsite near Clausthal-Zellerfeld, this time it should go along the Rehberger Graben, which we wanted to ride coming from the Oderteich.

Between Sankt Andreasberg and Sonneberg there are not only many hiking and cycling destinations, but also the so-called Dreibrodestein, three massive blocks of granite, which should be the destination of today's cycling tour.

Today is supposed to be the day, because our goal is the unicorn cave near Scharzfeld, which we had already hiked to, but then came across closed doors.

We had already covered part of the way around the Geiseltalsee on foot, now we had to do the complete circuit by e-bike.

Once again, the glorious sunshine lured us onto our bikes and the decision was quickly made to drive down to the Sösetalsperre and circle it today.
