The planning and development of a prototype brought us back to Poland, an opportunity to arrive in Rewa in the evening, a lido near Gdynia that we had already visited several times.

Our acquaintance with Nikos Papadimitriou had led us on a wine discovery tour to Rapsani in Thessaly. Just across the street from the Rapsani train station, we had arranged to meet in a small restaurant for a wine tour.

The Hohenstein near Witten is a popular local recreation area for all ages. The generous open spaces in particular leave room for all kinds of activities in pandemic times.
There are also some simple leisure facilities such as extensive hiking routes and even paths for mountain bikers to down-hill routes through the forest.

We were surprised at the heavy snowfall that covered the country with up to 60 centimeters of snow, which has not happened in years, there was the next surprise due to the very low temperatures on Sunday morning: hoar frost on the trees.

In the last few days, many people have been surprised and stressed out, it is indeed winter seasonally and the temperatures can fall, snow comes (this time even in larger quantities), and we are surprised. Is it really that surprising?

What a joy after the first look out of the window, everything was covered with snow. The view of the trees, whose branches and twigs all showed a white cap, was wonderful. Our motto is to have breakfast and get out of the house soon.

The Brocken, also popularly known as Blocksberg, is at 1141.2 meter the highest mountain in the Harz mountain range, it is located in Saxony-Anhalt and is a tempting destination for hiking in summer and winter.

Extensive forest areas, rolling hills, deeply cut stream valleys and well-developed cycling and hiking trails in the region around Bad Bibra invite you to relax and be active on foot or by bike. So we were again on our bikes in Bad Bibra, now that the foliage is showing wonderful colours.

In the temperate zones of Germany, autumn is the time of harvest and leaf fall. Astronomically, autumn begins here with the equinox on September 22nd or 23rd, meteorologically and biologically it is usually set for the beginning of September already.

We were on our way to a business meeting in the small town of Legionowo near Warsaw. An overnight place was booked, but the bad weather delayed the arrival considerably, so that we stopped at a restaurant on the way due to our feeling of hunger.

A first day of the fair had come to an end and now we were literally drawn to the centre of the historic old town of Poznan on the spacious Old Market with its diverse range of restaurants and the lively life around it.

Once again, business appointments took us to the small town of Bad Buchau at Lake Federsee, where we arrived in the early afternoon due to quiet traffic, so that we still had time for a first tour around the place.

Once again and despite the corona pandemic, the Caravan Salon Düsseldorf is calling and despite the restriction of the number of visitors, hygiene and distance requirements, this extraordinary Caravan Salon also seems to be a success again, at least the satisfaction of the visitors of the first days.

As already announced in our article “Another hike - this time to Saaleck Castle”, there should be another experience besides the hike to Saaleck Castle: the boat trip on a tourist steamer back to Bad Kösen.

Trees have always had an incredible attraction for us humans, not just because of their functions as climate and water regulators, as producers of oxygen, as recreational zone and escape areas for humans and animals.
