Station 16 - Camping Sikia - Pelion and picturesque villages

Station 16 - Camping Sikia - Pelion and picturesque villages

The family-run Sikia campsite is located directly on the Pagasitic Gulf on the picturesque green peninsula of the Pelion Mountains amidst an old, approximately 30-acre olive grove, between the two picturesque villages of Kato Gatzea and Kala Nera.

Camping Sikia meets all the modern needs of a modern campsite without losing the traditional charm of Greek hospitality. Whether in a mobile home, caravan or tent, everyone is welcome, because "on our campsite you can live", so the most important announcement of the family Pandeli. The traveling family in the car or by plane is welcome too, as we offer hotel rooms and apartments that combine the unique character of the local architecture with all modern comforts. Through the shady olive grove our guests reach the sandy beach of Sikia, which connects directly to the campsite.

Panoramic plots directly at the beach

All paths in the campsite are paved or asphalted, the walls made of natural stones and the access to the places is very simple for any camping vehicle. There are also places for campers who rely on solar energy and want to use their satellite antennas.

Ancient olive trees, a selection of ornamental and useful plants and shady trees guarantee shade and healthy air. There are special places for groups arriving with mobile homes, caravans or tents.

The Taverna Sikia, as a direct successor to one of the oldest and most famous fish restaurants in the region, is located on the seafront overlooking the bay and the village of Kato Gatzea and is definitely worth a visit. You relax here below wonderfully old plane trees and olive trees. The cuisine is traditional Greek with emphasis on the specialties of Pelion, but also offers a variety of fresh fish and seafood.
